Soupologie

It is always a delight to be contacted by new companies offering tempting products. It is even better when the products are better than you anticipate! Soupologie claim to have "secret blending methods" and I can confirm that, whatever they are, they work beautifully.

The entire range is lactose free, dairy free, gluten free, wheat free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The labelling on the generous 600g pots is clear and concise. Even better each pot contains 2 of your 5 a day (or 7 a day if you are counting higher!), is low in fat and low in sugar.

Ancient Grains, Amaranth, Flaxseed and Millet

A wonderful vegetable flavoured soup with great chunky pieces of vegetable especially the carrot and onion. This soup is a deep rich orange colour dotted with crunchy little grains. An unusual and brilliant combination of ingredients.

Pea and Leek

A smooth, thick and tasty pea soup beautifully complimented by leek and seasoning. This is soup looks incredible with its vivid natural green colour and smells fresh and enticing. Even our little boy tucked in describing it as alien soup. The perfect way to get little ones eating lots of veggie's.

Soupologie are also running this very generous and worthy fundraiser for Prostate Cancer awareness through sales of their Pea and Leek soup:

"We saw the Men United campaign with Bill Bailey highlighting the need for men to be vigilant about checking for prostate cancer and we suddenly thought that our Pea & Leek soup was so aptly named that we could possibly help the cause! So we contacted Prostate Cancer UK and asked if they would be interested in us donating 10% of profits from Pea & Leek for the next year, and we would be happy to have a label on the soup pots promoting their campaign.

So we are delighted to be working with Prostate Cancer from 1st May 2014 - 2015. We sincerely hope to play our bit in increasing men's awareness of the disease and are immensely grateful for any publicity we can get in promoting the cause."
